{A} Hyacinth
{B} A flower of the bulb family with lots of little flowers -often white, purple, or pink.
{C} Saint Hyacinth of Poland who was one of the favorite disciples of St. Dominic.  His roots of faith, hope and charity were so deep that he helped bring about a great blossoming in the Church.

{A} Bleeding Heart
{B} A Fern like bush with little red and white colored flowers in the shape of a heart.
{C} The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, pierced for our souls, and the cause of our Redemption!  Viva Cristo Rey!

{A} Penstemon Papal Purple     
                    {B} A subshrub bearing magenta flowers with deeper markings on white throats.         
                    {C] Purple vestments are worn during the Advent and Lent seasons.   
                           Purple reflects sorrow and suffering.

{B} An Asiatic Hybrid Lily which has a soft orange bloom change into golden yellow in the center of each petal.     
{C} Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday after Pentecost.

                {B} A pestilence spread throughout the kingdom of Hungary during the reign of King Laszlo (Ladislaus)   
                      I. He reigned from 1077 to 1095.     
                      Laszlo prayed for a cure. He then shot an arrow into the air at random.   
                      The arrow hit a herb, which cured the illness.

             {A} Magnolia grandiflora Saint Mary         
             {B} A Southern magnolia with white flowers. The tree blooms large creamy-white flowers in Summer.   
             {C} St. Mary Magdalen was present at the Crucifixion of Jesus.     
                    She was with Joanna and Mary, the mother of James and Salome, at Christ's empty tomb.

I used to have a magnolia tree in the backyard of the house I grew up in. It was an unusual one -- it would bloom twice a year!

So many flowers!

              {B} This narcissus are paperwhites. They make a good outdoor flower in areas with mild winters in colder climates.   
              {C} Galilee is the native land of Jesus, where he began his ministry and performed many of his works.
