St.Luke, pray for us! Please intercede to The Lord Our God for the Surgeons, nurses and caregivers responsible for
Uncle Jim's surgery. Bless their hands, keep their minds keen and compassionate.
Hold Uncle Jim in the palm of your hand, Lord, in Jesus' name, we pray,
Amen

And may St. Luke pray for him and for your husband whiterockdove.
O Lord, Good Physician, help us.

Hoping your Uncle is out of surgery. If he is still waiting to go in the OR, praying that he is comfortable and not too hungry or thirsty.
Surgery is so hard on a body..... The waiting is rough and the recovery, also.
We have been there many times, both me and my
Husband.

Uncle Jim survived 4 hours of surgery yesterday - the doctors removed a golf sized ball from his intestines -- he is hooked up to a lot of tubes and has mitts on his hands as he tried to remove the tubes the other night. He is on a ventilator and other machines.
Grateful to God that he has survived.. please keep praying for his recovery, he is an old man now despite being such a hard working type.
May God help him and thanks so much for the prayers folks.

Oh my! What an ordeal for him and everyone else.
Praying for his strength and health.
Be with him, Sacred Heart of Jesus,
Give him consolation and keep him calm
We humbly implore for mercy and
Healing and rest, thru Our Blessed Mother.

Dear Saint Rita,
model wife and widow,
you yourself suffered in a long illness
showing patience out of love for God.
Teach us to pray as you did.
Many invoke you for help,
full of confidence in your intercession.
Deign to come now to our aid
for the relief and cure of Shin's uncle.
To God all things are possible.
May this healing give glory to the Lord.
Amen.

Here is the latest news..
Uncle Jim was due to go home but he cannot and must remain in the hospital longer, as he caught a new infection and is on antibiotics.
They thought he'd had a stroke at first as the infection caused him to talk gibberish. He can scarcely talk at all and still has tubes in him.
Please keep praying for him. I know these prayers are so much needed.
For his health and for his soul!
He has been in the hospital a long time, far longer than expected, and gone through so much.

Oh....I am sorry he is still there.....
Strokes are very scary,
So are infections.
He is where he needs to be right now
So he can get built back up.
It's not like being home, though.
Praying!
Our Father
Hail Mary
Glory be
