                  We have seen images of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Christ Jesus, St. Joseph, and other saints on   
                   stained glass windows of churches and cathedrals.   
                  Are there rules governing what images can go on stained glass windows?

Kings Chapel, Cambridge, United Kingdom     
Church of Notre-Dame au Sablon, Brussels, Belgium       
La Sainte-Chapelle, Paris, France

                 There is an angel stained glass window in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, Colorado.

The old Poor Claire's Monastery of Chicago had a stained glass window depicting St. Elizabeth of Hungary holding a bouquet of flowers.
