Title: and now Julia...
Post by: RachelKH on December 05, 2010, 07:39:45 PM
Julia suddenly got the chills and exhaustion and felt sick all of a sudden -- probably just what Theresa had for the last week+ because it started just like that.  Prayers she feels better soon would be appreciated.  God bless you.

You know what Rachel?  I need to dig up a long past post.  I had posted some words of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  I'll try to find them.  She talks much about her sick children, her wayward sons, her plight as a single mom, and her struggle with depression.  Meanwhile, prayers for your little one to get better and for mom to hang in there.   :+: :+: :+: :pathead: :pathead:

Thank you so much.  She is lying on the couch, sipping tea and eating a couple crackers, temp hovering at 102.  A bit better than terrible.  I had to call off work again.  I need a job I can do from home, on my own hours.  You all are in our prayers as we thank God for the comforts we have even in our illnesses.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus,
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

For the little one Rachel.  :+:

Prayers for Julia :littleprayer:

I understand how it is to need to have a job and also the need to attend to sick children. My prayers are with you.  I used to think about being a Medical transcriptionist and work from home , or to babysit or have a daycare,  but I needed to learn a proper skill for my future and so decided to go ahead with my D.A. program, a 6 month course which was a big struggle.  Now everything lies in God's hands. I graduate today.

Mary , our most loving Mother, come to our aid!

Julia is still very sick -- she got sick suddenly in the middle of the college Christmas concert -- just 'melted' into terribly sick -- she seemed to be rallying yesterday, but seems worse today -- she could really use the prayers -- me too -- i've had to miss daily Mass for most days of the last 2 weeks -- I need my 'spiritual sustenance' -- I'll take her to the doctor tomorrow -- I was so hopeful she could get better without antibiotics but it looks like she needs them after all as her ears are aching and it looks like strep throat like Theresa had.

Thanks, and God bless you all.

Prayers for little Julia!  My teenager had strep throat some months back and it was bad. She couldn't swallow coz of the pain and thus lost some pounds.  Antibiotics and constant warm salt water gargles is the quickest way to heal.  .... And prayers , of course!  :)  :+:

Praying that this time of sickness is for Julia her time to get closer to Jesus.   May God heal her in accordance with his will.  In her suffering may she abandon herelf to God's Merciful Love fully confident in His Merciful Love.  Amen.
