Today around the breakfast table, I recounted to my girls a miracle story showing God's Love and intercession in each of their lives.  We love hearing these stories, feeling God's love and care surrounding us, hearing the proof and sharing the amazing joy.  Good way to thank and praise Him here on Guadete Sunday.

I think a little book of these for such readings would be Great! It's great fun for children when they are read to and told Stories!

Please say a Hail Mary for my teenager.  Her eyes were puffy today and after much questioning I realized she was crying for her father last night.  Please pray that God may give this child and the rest of my children strength to bear this loss.  :crucifix:  I pray that they may turn to Him and not away from Him, in their sorrow.

For our wandering children we pray, Lord have mercy!

A spiritual weapon in our hands is the green scapular. I place one in my teenagers pillow or room and then say a little prayer for her everyday ' Immaculate heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death . Amen!   Green scapulars can also be smuggled into homes by sewing into a teddy bear or pillow and the daily prayer said for the person whose conversion is much needed for his/her soul.  :crucifix: The green scapular is powerful for conversions.

 It may be placed in the clothing, on the bed, or simply in the room.

       The only prayer is the inscription surrounding the heart on the reverse of the Scapular: "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death." Although wonderful graces are obtained, they are proportionate to the confidence with which it is given.

       The Green Scapular was twice approved by Pope Pius IX, in 1863, and again in 1870, when he said: "Write to these good Sisters that I authorize them to make and distribute it."

I was informed they classified my grand son Jake as autistic, such a beautiful little boy. Jake is 5 now and will be starting school next year.My son Christian and his wife are in a shaky marriage right now so I'm very worried for little Jake and his brother Gavin, please keep them in your prayers.

Teenager has started going to Mass and went for her first confession. This after a year of rebellion (no church, no prayers, no confession) after being baptized. I can't say there has been a drastic change , but seems to be baby steps on her part. May God do the rest!!  :crucifix:  The darkness became overwhelming for her to the point that she could see and sense the Evil one around her ( won't scare you all with more details). That's when she decided to try and do her part for God however small. Please pray for this troubled teenager!  :littleprayer:

 The faults of children are not always imputed to the parents, especially when they have instructed them and given good example. Our Lord, in His wondrous Providence, allows children to break the hearts of devout fathers and mothers. Thus the decisions your children have made don't make you a failure as a parent in God's eyes. You are entitled to feel sorrow, but not necessarily guilt. Do not cease praying for your children; God's grace can touch a hardened heart. Commend your children to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. When parents pray the Rosary,at the end of each decade they should hold the Rosary aloft and say to her,"With these beads bind my children to your Immaculate Heart", she will attend to their souls.
