She is pregnant and they found fluid build up on the baby's brain. They feel the baby will be born with problems.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

In cases like this there's often pressure from the medical personnel to abort..

I know of Thy miraculous deeds for the sick.

Thou canst heal me if Thou wilt!
Extend Thy Holy Hand and by Thy power

I am loving the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Icon Patricia! Even though I miss your old one!  :D

Our Lady of Perpetual Help, ora pro nobis!

I was debating between the old icon and the new picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, and finally chose this one , though I think the other one is more authentic. Our Lady looks more sorrowful in the other one.
