I read that on her feast day two lambs are blessed at her church in Rome, Italy and then their wool is woven into the palliums (bands of white wool) which the pope confers on archbishops as symbol of their jurisdiction. My son has made up his mind ( seemingly way in advance ) about St. John Bosco. My 8 year old is going to research and she talks about St. Agnes a lot. My oldest.....well, I'm still bribing her to go to the website and research saints.

Bribing people to research saints.. I've got to think about this.. Looks like St. John Bosco's decided on someone perhaps too! :D The St. Paul of the Cross quote really stays with me and makes for thought.
