Title: Quote for the Night: The Flower of the Grass
Post by: Shin on February 16, 2011, 08:22:12 PM
'And so, my brothers, let us rejoice and be glad as we repudiate every pleasure. All flesh is grass, and all human glory like the flower of the grass. The grass withered and the flower faded, but the work of virtue endures for ever.'

St. Theodore the Studite

I've been thinking of heaven and longing for it more lately.  But I have to push that thought behind me as right now getting my kids settled and responsible is what I need to be here for. I truly feel All flesh is grass, and all human glory like the flower of the grass.
