Title: Saints as Manifesting Attributes of God Post by: Cat Herder on May 16, 2011, 11:35:12 PM I seem to recall someone describing each saint as "manifesting a particular attribute of God in their lives" or something to that effect. That seems to be consistent with 1 Cor. 12 (Paul's teaching on the Body of Christ) and with the reality of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the saints. But before I go and use this analogy in lessons I want to make sure it is authentically Catholic. Has anyone here seen or heard of a Church Father or saint who used such a description of the saints? Thanks.

I suppose depending on what a person meant by it, it could be good or bad. Hmmm.. What attributes of God I wonder? |
