Hmm, I do not know anything about it. There was a brief preview available online I saw, but it didn't give me enough information to say whether it was good or not, though it garners some good reviews from the readers, I saw one troublesome quote in the beginning, as well as one quite good quote from St. Augustine.

One reviewer said it was a collection of letters by Mary Strong, from various sources.

What do you know of it?

The troublesome quote would be in the very start 'Emotion is as wild and unpredictable as the weather and must be faced and domincated. No no wonder ancients called it the devil. . .' a quote which would seem to deny their influence on such matters, as an antiquated idea. Later on the work might correct this impression, but in the few pages of the preview, that would be against the work.

I don't have the time or capability to read every book sufficiently to say whether there are problems with it, or it is recommendable generally.

So my general advise is to always go to the books of the saints for reading, one won't run out of them to read.

And one will escape a good deal of things one shouldn't have anything whatsoever to do with, and likely might not even know how to tell if is good or evil.  :D

I came across it online in 2010 and am very grateful for it. I've been looking for other's to discuss it with. Mary Strong is the editor... the author's of the letters remain anonymous.
