Title: Ancient geographical names Post by: susanna on December 13, 2012, 11:48:39 AM ???I'm always wondering where the modern-day places are that have other names in scripture or lives of the saints stories (Samosata, Philempora). Does anyone know if there is a resource I could use, like a map to show me the location? Thanks much.

It is too bad I do not know much about homeschooling resources, I bet some of the traditional older ones have some marvelous materials in regards to such things. If you google utah biblical names, you'll find a comprehensive list of all these towns. Hope that helps.

The few I have checked turned out to be somewhere in Modern Turkey ;D |
