Title: A friend in need
Post by: Shin on March 24, 2013, 04:59:50 PM
A friend of mine I just got to know a little about a short while ago online, he's in his 70's, wrote about being sick recently, and I'm concerned because he's disappeared since then.

I'm afraid he may be in the hospital or worse.

So I'd like to ask for some prayers for Jonathan.

Thanks. :D

May the Lord help him and console him.

Jesus Christ, Good Physician, help us.

Lord, Consoler of the Sick, help us.

St. Raphael, pray for us.

St. Luke, pray for us.

May our Good Lord bless and protect Jonathan,
and hold him in His Sacred Heart,
And May our Holy Mother Mary
keep him in her prayers
We ask this
in the name of the Father
and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit
Amen

Almighty and Everlasting God,
the eternal salvation of those who believe in You,
hear us on behalf of Jonathan who may be ill in hospital,
For him, we humbly beg the help of your mercy,
to restore him to health
that we may rejoice in your goodness,
 your mercy and  your power.
Through Christ Our Lord.
 Amen

Mother Mary, please help Jonathan to persevere in faith and in a state of grace, and help him to receive the best medical care.  May he see Our Father's hand in his illness and unite his sufferings with Jesus' on the cross, for the salvation of souls.  I pray that he turns to you in his need and receives your powerful assistance.  Please help him to suffer with Jesus, for Jesus and in imitation of Jesus.  Amen.
