Here you will find the parable of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin which tell us how God loves us and goes out in search of the lost soul. You will also find the parable of the Prodigal Son. He waits for us to repent and start our journey towards Him. He will meet us on the way with His welcoming mercy. Never despair, God loves you! I hope somehow you get to read this and may it help you with your relationship with God. God is very loyal to us. In the Book of Ruth, we see an example of loyalty in Ruth's relationship with her mother in law Naomi. When it looked like there was going to be a parting of ways between these two women, Ruth tells Naomi: “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” Ruth 1:16-17 This is loyalty. We know that loyalty is a part of the character of God Himself. He expresses His loyalty for us by not giving up on us no matter how we disappoint Him with our sins. We in our turn must express our loyalty to Him by obeying His Word and trusting in His forgiveness. Peace!
