Title: Sharing the Saints
Post by: Shin on December 07, 2013, 09:49:42 PM
Let me remind folks adding a link to these websites is doing great good.

Whether it's in your email, or other signature, linking to 'Inspirational Quotes from the Saints' (http://saintsquotes.net) or 'The Saints' Discussion Forums' (http://saintsworks.net), Saints' Prayers (http://saintsprayers.net), or more.

I like to add the link to Inspirational Quotes from the Saints (http://saintsquotes.net) along with an inspiring quote at the end of my emails.

Do think of ways to share these websites.

And remember these works in your almsgiving (http://saintsprayers.net/Donate.html).

If we have donations we can do various things -- more books, better software for preparing the books, advertising the websites -- quite a deal can be done, beyond simply covering the maintenance costs.

'The happiness of man on earth, my children, is to be very good; those who are very good bless the good God, they love Him, they glorify Him, and do all their works with joy and love, because they know that we are in this world for no other end than to serve and love the good God.'

St. Jean Marie Baptiste Vianney, the Cure of Ars

Remember folks you can add 'Inspirational Quotes from the Saints' as a link in your signature if you post on other websites.

'Raise thy heart and thy love toward the sweet and most holy cross, which soothes every pain!'

St. Catherine of Siena

By the way folks if you post on other fora, the signature code for a link on forums is usually something like this:

Code:
[url="http://saintsquotes.net]Inspirational Quotes from the Saints[/url]

You see the first part is the website address, and the second part is the name to give it.

 :D

Always appreciate links to guide people to this little family!  :tinyangel: :flower: :littlewings:

The linking is already bearing fruits. A contact has sent me this reply

I read some of your Saints Quotes.
But I did not understand this red marked below:
----------------------------------------------------------
'Hating the world, do not return to the works of the world. Having been loosed from the bonds of physical attachments, do not be bound again to the affections of the flesh. Having denied all pleasures and perishable things of the present life, do not depart from your struggle with obedience through negligence and become the sport of demons.'
St. Theodore the Studite
Will explain to him.

A fearsome thing esp. for a monk to return to the world, I remember reading the desert fathers of some sad cases.
