Title: Two sides of a coin Post by: CyrilSebastian on January 01, 2015, 04:27:10 PM In his homily for The Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God, Father expressed that: Suppose there was a coin.
There would be two sides. One side would have Mary the Blessed Mother. The second side would have Jesus, her Son. However, Mary would want the both sides to emphasize God. That the two sides be of Jesus. As I've always been taught... Mary does not acquire glory for herself but always for God and thus Mary always points us to Jesus. O:)
