Title: How to Keep Notes Post by: Shin on February 28, 2010, 06:40:51 AM I know most of you have Windows computers..
Do you know how to keep notes? I think some of you do.. some of you might not.. I am going to show you how now.. this will help you out.. :) Right click on your desktop.. any empty space.. A little list pops up! Choose 'new' from the list and there's another list! Choose 'Rich Text Document' with a left click! Poof! Up comes 'New Rich Text Document' on your desktop. You can click on the title of it once gently, and wait a second and it will highlight and you can type and give it a new name. And you can double-click it to open the tiny word processing program, Wordpad! In here you can keep all your notes. :D It can also help with volunteer work. ;) You can also right-click and choose to create a 'new' 'folder' the same way you created the little document. You can then rename this folder and keep your notes in it. I have a folder full of 'Unposteds', that is forum posts that were works in progress, some get posted some never do. I also keep quotations in these files. I keep recipes.. You name it.. Lots of notes! :) Title: Re: How to Keep Notes Post by: Brigid on February 28, 2010, 10:22:35 PM This doesn't work the same for me - I have Mac. I do have Word tho', so I can open it.
