Title: Non Catholics Receiving Holy Communion in Cathoilc Churches. Post by: odhiambo on March 26, 2015, 05:20:07 AM It has recently come to my knowledge that in some Catholic churches, non Catholics attending Mass are invited to partake of Holy Communion as brothers and sisters in Christ.

1 - that they belong to communities which have valid sacraments, (i.e. the Eastern Orthodox) 2 - that there is no priest of that community available. 3 - that they ask for these sacraments of their own accord Protestants do not fall into this category of communities which would allow this type of communicatio in sacris. Many Catholics don't believe in the Holy Eucharist being more than just "bread and wine" now, and then on top of this; many people like to try and claim that Protestants are actually Catholics - since they were baptized and are of good will.
