Title: Old English vs Modern English Post by: eschator83 on May 31, 2015, 10:54:54 PM I submit this poll in hope of improving my own views and understanding: your preferences and comments would be much appreciated to help me resist my unwanted but instinctive resistence to large doses of Old English. Surely a major factor is that much OE is free, vs more copyrights for ME versions. Also, much OE seems more elegant, even if difficult--I can barely bring myself to modernize the 23rd Psalm.
