Title: Prayer for energy and endurance
Post by: AutumnRose on March 03, 2010, 06:05:36 AM
Please pray for me...
Life is busy, busy. Work is busy and I have new responsibilities. The arrival of my new grandson has added to the support I give to my daughter. My mother is old and becoming quite frail. I find I get tired so much quicker than I did when I was young, and on some days, I struggle to find the energy to put one foot in front of the other.
I don't have any extras, like socialising or going out that I can drop, and I can't let go of the responsibilities I already have, so I ask for prayer that God would daily grant me the strength I need to do His will!
Thank you...

Prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel

O Beautiful Flower
of Carmel
Most Fruitful Vine,
Splendor of Heaven,
Holy and Singular!
Who brought forth the
Son of God
remaining a pure Virgin,
Assist me in this necessity!

O Star of the Sea!
Help and protect me!
Show me that
Thou art my Mother!

I would think that also, besides that prayer ( :+:) would need one that He give you the surrender to His Will, if He should want you to give up one of your responsibilities to someone else. I thought of that simply because that is a HUGE difficulty for me. I will pray for you everyday for both the strength and for the surrender needed, if that should be His Will. :+: :+: :+:

May our Lord give you the strength and energy you need to accomplish whatever he is asking of you each day.  May he send help your way in any form that would lessen your burdens.  May you persevere strong in faith, hope and love and offer up your hard sufferings for souls.  Amen.
