Title: St. Ludolph of Ratzeburg Post by: CyrilSebastian on February 06, 2017, 03:56:13 PM St. Ludolph was a Norbertine canon at the cathedral of Ratzeburg where for a time he held the office of provisor.
He was elected bishop of Ratzeburg in 1236. He led such a strict religious life with his confreres in the shadow of the cathedral that his community was nicknamed "prison of the Order". Ludolph died in 1250. :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: :crucifix: Title: Re: St. Ludolph of Ratzeburg Post by: CyrilSebastian on March 04, 2017, 11:04:32 PM As bishop, St. Ludolph confirmed his life to what he believed to be true, and suffered greatly for those convictions.
