Title: Prince Archbishop of Salzburg
Post by: CyrilSebastian on February 01, 2019, 07:05:29 PM
The Prince-Archbishopric of Salzburg was an ecclesiastical principality
and state of the Holy Roman Empire. It compromised the secular territory ruled by the archbishops of Salzburg.
Conrad III of Wittelsbach was appointed the Archbishop of Salzburg in 1177 at the Treaty of
Venice, after the partisans of both Pope and Emperor were deposed.
