Title: For the Faithfully Departed Post by: Shin on July 22, 2010, 11:05:15 AM Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord; and let the perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace.
O Lord hear my prayer, and let my cry come to You. O God, the creator and redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the souls of Your departed servants the remission of all their sins that through our prayers they may obtain pardon which they have always desired. Especially Aidan. Amen. O gentle Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on them. Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames. And, Merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light and peace. Amen. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen. Crucified Lord Jesus, have mercy on the holy souls. Lord grant the faithfully departed, and their families and loved one's your peace. Amen. Amen. Title: Re: For the Faithfully Departed Post by: Brigid on July 22, 2010, 03:05:23 PM This comes at a truly Providential time as my great-uncle passed away last week. He was protestant. As you know a great aunt of mine passed away a few weeks ago and her memorial service was this last weekend. She was the possible Catholic who attended a protestant church then lapsed from Christian worship.
Title: Re: For the Faithfully Departed Post by: odhiambo on November 03, 2014, 04:13:11 AM Prayer for the The Holy Souls in Purgatory
God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust. Lord, by faith, we know that those who die still live in Your presence, their lives change but do not end. We pray in hope for our families, relatives and friends, and for all the dead known to You alone. In company with Christ, Who died and now lives, and through The intercession of Our Blessed Mother, Mary, may they rejoice in Your kingdom, where all our tears are wiped away. Keep us strong and united in love in our journey and mission until we meet with them again as one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever. Amen. Eternal rest grant unto them Oh Lord, And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen Title: Re: For the Faithfully Departed Post by: Shin on November 06, 2014, 03:58:20 AM Hail Mary, full of grace,

Amen Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in Thee! Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, help us! Title: Re: For the Faithfully Departed Post by: odhiambo on November 13, 2014, 05:11:56 AM God our Father,
