St. Bernadette Soubirous You know I just learned that besides Mount Tabor, monstrance stands are called 'Tabor'. I saw one that looked like it had two angels and then a base. 'Golgotha' the 'place of the skull'.. and then far above the crucifix..
Was it in Emmerich that Adam was described as buried there? I forget. It reminds me of St. Peter being buried below the basilica. Tabernacle.. yes.. there should be.. the transfiguration.. yes there's a good deal of depth there.. I remember St. Peter offering to make three tabernacles there.. I'll have to look at Emmerich and find out. What an interesting thought. |
