Title: St Therese, the little flower about her little way
Post by: Brigid on October 01, 2010, 02:24:01 PM
In honor of St. Therese's feast day;

My little way is the way of spiritual childhood, the way of trust and absolute surrender.

St. Therese

In my little way there are only ordinary things.

St. Therese

It seems to me that if a little flower could speak, it would tell simply what God has done for it without trying to hide His blessings.

St. Therese

My way is all confidence and love.

 :tinyangel:

This makes me think of a little flower being like a little chick going 'peep' 'peep' 'peep' trying to tell its story.  :rejoice:

Baby chicks, baby humans, at most toddlers - those are what He must see us as.

To remain a child before God means to recognize our nothingness, to expect everything from God. It is not to become discouraged over our failings, for children fall often, but they are too little to hurt themselves very much.
