Title: Amnesty International Demands Decriminalization of Abortion in Latin America Post by: Shin on October 02, 2010, 06:43:27 AM Amnesty International Demands Decriminalization of Abortion throughout Latin America
By Matthew Cullinan Hoffman, Latin America Correspondent October 1, 2010 (LifeSiteNews) - Amnesty International has issued a press release demanding the legalization of abortion throughout Latin America. "All regulations should be repealed that sanction or permit the imprisonment of women and children who seek or obtain an abortion under any circumstance," said Amnesty International (AI) through its affiliate in AsunciĆ³n, Paraguay. Claiming that it is "shameful" that Latin Americans continue to prohibit the killing of unborn children, AI added that "the penalization of abortion denies to pregnant women and children the medical attention they need. This shows a cruel indifference towards their physical and psychological well-bring, and the absence of human dignity that the penalizing of abortion condemns them to suffer." Magaly Llaguno, leader of Human Life International's Hispanic division, told LifeSiteNews that she regarded it as "inconceivable that an organization that claims to be a defender of human rights is trying to require our Hispanic countries to legalize the slaughter of their future citizens." "Amnesty International declared that its objective is the 'respect and protection of the human rights of women and children.' How can this organization overlook the right to life of unborn children, the principle human right without which other rights can't exist?" Although AI was founded to defend those imprisoned for political crimes, it eventually expanded its activities and began to promote a leftist political agenda internationally. In 2007, AI added the legalization of abortion to the list of "human rights" that it demands of foreign countries. So many good causes have been hi jacked by the anti life brigade and then practically run by them.
I read a book once on the largest Cancer Research charity and if it be true, the last thing they want is a cure for cancer which would then make their corporation obsolete. A little on line investigation is worth the effort to ensure your hard earned cash is being used for the purpose you think. :-\ Title: Re: Amnesty International Demands Decriminalization of Abortion in Latin America Post by: Shin on October 03, 2010, 02:11:13 PM Yes.. one has to look into the causes and see if they are actually anti-Christian, anti-Life.. and so many are..
And use code words to disguise it.. 'children's rights'.. 'women's rights'.. 'reproductive health'.. 'family planning'.. what they actually mean to the people who use these terms is quite normally the exact opposite.. and yet they use these euphemisms to sound as if their cause were good.. to drum up support.. when actually their methods and goals are of the greatest harm to children, women, reproduction, familiy.. At the United Nations they use a good deal of coded language to create new rights that are actually 'rights' to do evil. And they use agitprop to make it seem as if these are great moral causes for children, women, minorities, etc.. which is their method of divide and conquer.. warfare between children and parents, men and women, poor and wealthy.. conflict and agitation of one against the other to keep themselves in power and both the empowered to 'fix' (actually simply empowered) and yet never the focus.. |
