Dear family would you please remember in your prayers Veronica, the mother of a good friend of mine who has been given the news that she may only have a matter of weeks left in this world.
They are a very prayful and loving family and much distressed by the news.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, Pray for them and all who have asked us for prayer.

I will add her to my Rosary.

Ancient Prayer to Saint Joseph

O ST. JOSEPH, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, assist me by thy powerful intercession and obtain for me all spiritual blessings through thy foster Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer thee my thanksgiving and homage.

O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee and Jesus asleep in thine arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.

St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for this dear old woman and us all.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Thank you Patricia.... Hope your having a more relaxed week with all those exams over. I did remember during the rosary to thank God, our blessed lady and all the saints for hearing yours and all our prayers and getting you through with flying colors  :principalities:

My friends mum Veronica went to the Lord today at 5:30 pm.

Eternal rest grant onto her O Lord
and let the perpetual light shine upon her
May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.        Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto her soul, O Lord. May her family be given consolation and strength in the days to come. May they be sustained by prayer.

Lord, let these last days of purification for Veronica be pervaded by a deep peace in her soul and a full abandonment to Your Merciful Love.  May she keep strong in faith, hope and love, and not let anything separate herself from you.  Grant her a happy death please.  Amen.
