Post by: CyrilSebastian on February 26, 2019, 05:46:46 PM
Shin,  In a previous post you expressed you like to plant flowers which are completely white.
I have listed a few flowers that are white.

Scabiosa (Pincushion)
Calla Lilies
Tulips
Hibiscus

I like the pincushion flower particularly.

I bought more seeds recently.

Sweet Alyssum "Carpet of Snow", "Snow in Summer" Chickweed, Stock White Flower, Ice Plant White, Agrostemma White, and Carnation White.

Also my mother sent me white pumpkin seeds as a gift.

 :D

Those look like what springs up here in the back woody area in spring.  :D

Shin, Have you planted any white Dianthus?

No, I haven't. I planted some baby's breath but I think the groundhog or the rabbit ate it all. I have more seeds though so I should still be able to grow some.

Shin, How late can you plant baby breath's seeds?

I don't know, but I will try and see if they grow enough to flower with a late start this year.

Everything is growing a lot due to all the rain, I do not have to water often, but I have a lot of weeding to do.

Oh I like these a lot. Very antique and unusual looking. They match their name well.

If you did not see a picture, you might not know that they were a type of Shasta Daisies.

Shin, Have you planted white Asters?

I don't think I planted them, though it is possible I forgot.

Some of the flower seeds I planted this year did not grow.

The baby's breath grew though.

Shin, If you did plant the white Asters, did you plant seeds or the actual aster plant?

I would have planted seeds. I have a lot of seeds and mixed up which ones I planted in one of the seed trays this year, so after that I just waited to see what would come up.
