agreed. I think, among the myriad things we should pray for, courage should be at the top of the list. Even though most Catholics arent' at risk of being led to the arena or the stake, it doesn't mean we aren't continuously in a state of battle with the enemy. Praying for peace and the reign of God's kingdom is first and foremost, but courage to get there is also pretty important - for both clergy and laity.  Wink

On the article - sometimes, being heavy-handed is what is required to get the message across. I know it worked for me in my youth, so why not with the faithful when they stray in their "spiritual youth" so to speak?
