Well this is so very interesting Paul.  I also don't believe in science wholeheartedly any more.  I say wholeheartedly because it saved my life as a child when it gave us penicillin.  I will have to read this again a couple of times before it all sinks in, but I do like the idea of all the universe(s) moving around the earth.  Thanks.
50  Forums / Everything Else / Re: Joke of the Day on: May 04, 2013, 06:20:09 PM
Hello!  Just heard this yesterday -
A man stopped at a chicken take-out place and ordered a bucket of chicken.  The owner accidentally gave him the bucket with the day's money in it, where he had it hidden.  The man left, but when he saw that the bucket was full of money, he took it back.  The owner was so grateful  that he said "I'm going to call the local TV news station, your honesty is so wonderful in times like these I want people to see what a good man you are."  The customer said "Oh please don't, that woman in the car is not my wife!"
51  Forums / Everything Else / Suggestions for new bible for me? on: January 10, 2013, 11:31:53 AM
Hello everyone.  I'm stumped in my bible shopping.   Undecided  I'd like it to be closest to the original meaning, yet I don't want it to be confusing or hard to read or understand,  and I'd kind of like it to be portable for bible study.  I'm between Douay Rheims and Ignatius study bible, the study bible because I'd like the extra information.  Any thoughts are most appreciated.  Thank you all.    Cheesy

Now that's a rare cake to bake I think susanna! Good show! Cheesy

Okay, I will make up a riddle, that way there's no way to find the answer. . .

The first has a letter that is in burnt bread. . .
The second has a letter that is in a word, opposite of hard. . .
The last is the first of all.

What am I?

 Cheesy
  I'm giving up.

A Jesuit joke.

Sts Dominic, Francis and Ignatius of Loyola are transported back in time and place to the Birth of Our Lord.

St Dominic, seeing the Incarnation of the Word, is sent into ecstasy.

St Francis, seeing God become a helpless child, is overcome with humility.

St Ignatius of Loyola takes St Joseph and Our Lady aside and asks "Have you given any thought to His education?"

I have the answer. But had to cheat a bit because I didn't know what sailors drink. So I'm not sure I will be awarded the grand prize.  It was partial cheating, I think.

Patricia! Even when I do away with the invisible ink!

64  Forums / Catholic General Discussion / Re: Would this bother you? on: December 25, 2012, 10:56:00 PM
The man didn't appear to have any disabilities, just a very casual attitude, and it didn't look like a service dog, just looked like a mutt.
You can't take a dog into a restaurant or most public places, yet he brought it to holy (?) Mass twice, that I saw.
This bothered me so much that I will never go back there.   Sad
