How is everyone doing spiritually right now?

What are you focusing on improving in your spiritual life?

 Cheesy

Where would you like to see some improvement?

My focus in the past few weeks has been on trying to increase my rosary by five more decades each day.
It''s very hard to be consistant with this as time always seems to be lacking but I'm beginning to find the time as the days go on. It makes the 5 decades seem so much easier now. I blame St Louis de Monfort for this. He said that children should do 5 decades and adults if possible should do 15 per day.

But it pays so much spiritual reward that I know the saint was right in preaching this.
No pain, no gain.  Cheesy

Hahaha! Yes, those words of his stuck with me too, though I have no daily rosary. Sigh! Yet! Perhaps I should start small at one decade a day and build from a seed.

I do not know why, I love to tell everyone to pray the rosary, and pray as much as possible, and wish to myself, but it gives me more trouble than any other prayers. Perhaps that is part of why it is so good, because I know, whenever I do it, there's a profound grace from it that day.

Ah, Bailey2! Prayers for you then! Special prayers! Hang in there! God is good!  consolation

I am determined to say the 5-decade Rosary everyday, but my recent illnesses came in the way. But I'll be back!  I know there is nothing more effective than the daily Rosary.

Standstill for me.

I've prayed a rosary daily for 11 years, 3 decades during Lent. I just have trouble remembering what we're supposed to be meditating on for each decade.  I have it written down somewhere, it's just finding my glasses in the dark.  big grin   I have a nice CD in Latin - Fr. Patrick Perez says it so nicely, but on the Rosary in Stained Glass from EWTN they tell you what to pray for, Annunciation-humility, Visitation-brotherly love, etc.  I have to get that one.

By the way, Patricia. With all your children it may not be possible, but when I've had surgery I hung my Rosary on the rails of my bed and saying it, be it only one Hail Mary at a time made me feel so much at peace and I forgot how much I hurt. If possible, when I'm sick I say it a little part at a time and it feels so good. Just to let you know.

Well, I'm trying to add saying two parts of the Little Office every day, along with my Rosary. It may be more than I end up doing but I'm trying.
As far as loving others, I used to always look for the positives - God - in everyone I met/spoke with. I'm working on doing that again. It's hard since I forget, but 'step by step'. shrug
