My best friend, who lives across the States from me just received an MRI report of a nodule on her left lung.  She is having a CT later this week and I'll be calling her Friday to find out the results.  She had breast cancer 7 yrs ago so this is pretty scary.  She has two boys, the oldest is my youngest's age.  She is 47.

thank you for your continued prayers.
My friend's oncologist looked at the MRI and is worried.  Results of the CT will be in this week.  She is VERY scared but is doing well considering.  We've been texting and e-mailing frequently.

Mass on lung is too small to biopsy and "dangerously" near the heart.  It can only be watched and if it turns out to be cancer, there is nothing they can do in terms of operating.  So, another CT in 4 months.  Cancer markers in blood work are good.  So, for now all is well

*** thanks guys!  I kind of laid it to rest for now; guess that's not a good thing.  And that reminds me, she never answered my e-mail how she was doing!  Perhaps catching this here was a good thing!
