Oh heck, this is not a discussion thread. I just wanted to boast about my second son!
After not going to the winter dance, he scored his first varsity goal the next morning (ice hockey--very religious activity for us and non-violent
)!!!!!!!!!
Get this: HE IS A FRESHMAN on a team with Juniors, Seniors, and Sophomores! He said several kids from his team weren't there (probably hung over), giving him more ice time than usual (for Freshman). We watched him break away, fly down the ice, and flick it in after a fake to the goalie. It was the first goal of the game. He is now accepted on the team. Freshman have a hard time with that.
Proud mama! (Second son will get accolades when track season is in full bloom). Hope it's appropriate but it said "everything else"!
