'Avoid failing, not only against purity, but even against the least rules of an exact modesty.'

"Where," says St. Gregory, "Christ is, there modesty is found." Wherever Jesus Christ dwells by love, there modesty is practiced.

St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

An opportunity!  Cheesy

From reading all the posts on modesty it kooks like everyone here is doing their bit. Even if be imperfectly we can always strive for perfection and although this modesty thing appears to be a burden as such, I bet when practiced there will be many hidden graces revealed that those who don't practice will never know.
Isn't it the case that in everything the Lord demands what seems like sacrifice turns into a joy.

I think that the real burden on the soul is the non-practice of a required virtue. I have found this out to my cost but also found to my benefit that making the effort to conform to a good practice can develope a real dislike for the thing God doesn't like.
The Lord is so good and I know that all He wants is the very best for us.  rejoice

You're so right, Martin. We do need to work toward being "perfect as Our Father in Heaven is perfect" however He doesn't expect it all in one day. A parent wants to see real progress in learning from their child and doesn't even expect immediate perfection!
