Alan and Victoria, Carmelite tertiaries have an apostolate of collecting and providing images of antique holy cards.

As you can see Victoria has decided to visit us. 

They have generously allowed us to use some of the cards from their work in the Lord.

Their family apostolate is called Holy Card Heaven.

Over the next few weeks I hope to provide some of these holy cards for use with the forum profiles here so there is a selection to choose from.

Let us all rejoice in the Lord and hold them in our family prayers, now that they have joined us more closely in the Communion of Saints.

I have always liked old Catholic pictures and statues rather than the new ones they are coming out with.  I see new statues of the saints in my bookstore and there is nothing attractive about most of them.
