I made this poem for a friend when she gave birth to a baby boy. She's not a Christian but I hoped the poem (it's more like a prayer, I guess
) I made for him will in one way or another, in his lifetime..bring him to Jesus.
A BLESSING FOR HARLES
A Child is a blessing from heaven
God’s gift to every parent
To love, to hold, to care and to protect
He is a joy to behold everyday
From the womb, to a baby to a tot
From a boy, to a teen and an adult man
May the Lord God from above
Give him blessings and guidance as he grows up
Give him wisdom, knowledge and intellect
That he may know what is right and just
Give him faith, hope and humility
To keep him humane
Most of all, God,
Give him LOVE
For You, for his family and his friends
For this is what will make him a GREAT MAN
