'If everything were already known and assured to us, where would be room for our confidence in God? Now we have only the shadow of these things. Where would be room for hope, if we possess them already?'

St. Ignatius of Loyola

Something that has been on my mind is the important role of virtue in our lives.

This life is an opportunity to practice it! One that lasts only a brief space of time.

That makes so much sense and if taken onboard could prevent so much doubt.

Remembering the shortness of this life can certainly help to keep focus on the important things.

I'm learning more I think, at least a little, what a happy thing it is to try to think about how the virtues work. Cheesy And what is truly supernaturally and especially virtuous.

When you see them active in people, you see Christ at work, bringing His grace into human weakness.
