There exists purity of body and purity of soul. The Fatima seer Jacinta did a good job at defining them and their difference. I wish I could quote her but I am having difficulty finding her words on the subject. The definition of purity found above most likely covers both definitions (purity of body and of soul) well enough. Ask yourself if you are pure in body and in soul; and if you aren't, ask yourself if it is because you do not pray for purity or because you are proud. You can not be pure if you do not pray for purity or if you are proud. I recommend the "Three Hail Marys" every day, at morning and at night, in honor of the Immaculate Conception, for the virtue of purity, to any of you who may be struggling with purity and who are not yet praying the "Three Hail Marys." If you are having difficulty with purity of body, then you must practice custody of the senses and be sure to pray your "Three Hail Marys," at morning and at night, in honor of the Immaculate Conception, for the virtue of purity.
