The Heavens

I took some pictures of the sky this morning during sunrise as it looked quite splendid.









The first is earlier the last is a few minutes later after a little walking.

I don't doubt over time I shall find even more splendid skies to take photos of. I shall keep a watch for a time when the light is opening up and coming out of the clouds.

'But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looking up steadfastly unto heaven, saw the glory of God, and JESUS standing on the right hand of God. And he said, Behold I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.'

Acts 7:55-56

'And I saw a great white throne, and one sitting upon it, from whose face the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them.'

Apocalypse 20:11

'Then spake Josue to our Lord in the day, that he delivered the Amorreite in the sight of Israel, and said before them: Thou Sun against Gabaon move not, and thou Moon against the valley of Aialon. And the Sun and Moon stood still, till the people Revenged themselves of their enemies. Is not this written in the book of the just? The Sun therefore stood still in the midst of heaven, and hastened not to go down the space of one day.
