An error where the 'default' pictures to choose from for your profile picture were restored has also been corrected, and these images have been removed again.

Also some new ones are being added for various saints.

The holy cards Victoria and Alan worked on are in the process of being trimmed, resized and prepared for use by forum goers.

You can see them listed in the 'Antique Holy Card Heaven Selection' folder listed off your forum profile information link.

If you're sharp eyed, you will likely see my forum profile image change as they go through testing.

 Cheesy

It's amazing how many beautiful things have disappeared from the face of this earth in everyday life!

But if you seek them they can be found!  crucifix

These antique holy cards are prompting me to wonder if I can't spiff up the regular forum graphics a bit to be more fitting actually, so they do not clash.

But graphic arts is one of my weak points, just a little bit ago I tried drawing a smilie and completely failed at it.  Shocked

Look at mine. St. Rose of Lima. Is this one of the antique pics?

It's definitely an antique holy card, but it isn't from the new collection (I think).  Cheesy

Isn't it splendid looking?

The new holy cards are a bit large at this point, I will probably make them a -little- smaller to fit in with the rest of the ones we have here.

I wish I had all these cards. I don't see any of them at the book store , only the modern looking ones.

Yes, and if you look closely, they were cut very well, lacy edges and all.

I wonder what kind of printing press one needs to create something like that. If I was running a confraternity or devotional organization, I would definitely want to be able to create these kinds of cards for people.

Sigh.. so much has disappeared.

The forum 'stars' have been updated to be a little less gaudy. Cheesy

Perhaps I can work with some of the icons too.
