1) A white woolen vestment worn by the Pope and sent by him to patriarchs, primates and archbishops. It is the symbol of the fullness of pastoral power, and reminds the wearer of the Good Shepherd, whose example he must follow.
Pallium
2) What is the judgment called which we have to undergo immediately after death?
Particular Judgment
3) A small piece of beeswax stamped with the image of a lamb and cross. It is solemnly blessed by the Pope with special prayers for those who carry it about their person in honor of Our Blessed Redeemer, whom we call the Lamb of God, Who taketh away the sins of the world. The wax is usually covered with silk or some fine material.
An Agnus Dei
4) How many books is the Bible made up of?
73
5)What does the Church call the suffering, Death, Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus Christ?
Paschal Mystery
6) The book containing a collection of parts of the Bible arranged for all the readings that we use at Mass.
Lectionary
Martin, don't peek at the answers!

Just to get the ball rolling I'll start with the one answer I think I'm sure of and that's No 4.
The Catholic Bible has 73 books and the Protestant one has 66.
Answer for 3.
I didn't know this one until recently when it was mentioned in a sermon on Audio Sancto about a soldier who was killed in battle and died wearing his St Christopher medal, his scapular and his Agnus de which means Lamb of God. So my answer is Agnus Dea.
Still scratching my head on the others,

Martin, you're right about 3 and 4! Congratulations! And I'm so proud you didn't peek. I didn't know the answers to these too, till I learnt them while teaching the children Catechism.
Let's wait to see if anyone can come up with the rest of the answers.

I cheated -- did them with my kids and they wanted the answers right away. I only knew the Lectionary and the Paschal Mystery.

Excellent. The second one is not 'personal' but very close..... You got pallium right, that is great! I'd never heard of that word.

If anyone has an interesting fact to share about the Roman Catholic faith this would be a good way to learn it. Shin, I'm sure you have lots of information we could learn from. There is so much to learn and so little time.

You have me wondering Patricia!
I remember the particular judgement as it has come up for me more than once in conversation recently.
I make note of the 'judgement' part.
Actually, when you posted this you did something I have no talent for, making quizzes like these. I've wanted to, but I've always felt stalled at the gates. Then I saw yours and said, hmm, I wonder if I could recruit her to do more of these!
Looks like we had similar thoughts! But.. everytime I try I fail to make something suitable!
I will try again tho!
