BTW, Martin, why is St. Matthew associated with Accountants? Was he one?

I think it's because he used to be a Tax Collector.
ooops! I'm just after seeing you already knew that.

I keep thinking about this now.. what would the world be like without tax collectors? Would there be any accountants? Yes there would.. but.. Much fewer I think!

Good accountants are be the antidote to tax collectors.
But then again I think we're meant to give to Caesar What's Caesar's
Wow Brigid, you've certainly got the feel of those questions
I think I know another one. St Carherine the martyre on the wheel. ?

There's still one left Brigid!
Ah the last saint who begins with an 'e' is known as an exemplar of patience in adversity. . .
This high ranked military man converted to Christianity following a hunting trip during which he saw a glowing cross between the antlers of a stag, after which he received a prophecy that he would suffer for Christ. He was baptized with his wife, and two sons, also saints..
Before he converted, his peaceful name began with a 'p'..
He and his family were martyrs under Hadrian..
