I do not know but I'll take a guess.  Is Justice the most important?

I'll go for prudence.  I wish all people would be richly blessed with prudence.  Then it makes the other things fall into line.

Temperance 'balances' and includes the other virtues.

And it takes fortitude to have all the others. Undecided

This is great, it's making for thought about all these virtues and how they work. Cheesy

I'll wait a little bit more and then the answer.

Susy says Temperance -- because if you can control yourself from too much or too little in anything, all things will be balanced. (?)

Hmm... I thought I had the correct answer and was about to reveal it to everyone, and now I am not sure.

I think I shall be prudent and look into it a little further..   confused speachless Grin

What is said to be the last 7 words of Jesus are actually what is the last 7 phrases.

1.   "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do."  Lk. 23: 34

2.   "This day thou shalt be with me in Paradise."   Lk. 23: 43

3.   "Woman, behold thy son."   Jn. 19: 26-7

4.   "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?"   Mk. 15: 34 (Mt. 27: 46)

5.   "I thirst."  Jn. 19: 28.

6.   "It is finished."   Jn 19: 30

7.   "Into thine hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit."  Lk. 23:

Thanks Brigid for the explanation, I was just about to say "for they know not what they do!"Rich, huh  Grin

It is very strange how it is called 'words' when it is phrases.

It is very strange how it is called 'words' when it is phrases.

Call it coincident?Today I came across the exact same "7 last words or phrases" in our Parish News Bulletin,  only they are listed as 'Seven Last Sayings of Jesus on the Cross'. A more apt word I think. The writer goes further to explain that traditionally, these seven sayings are called words of :
1: Forgiveness
2: Salvation
3: Relationship
4: Abandonment
5: Distress
6: Triumph
7: Reunion
So, Strictly speaking , the last Seven words of Jesus are the seven words listed. This is me now drawing my own conclusion Grin
