What was the month of the new corn in Genesis?

Okay, now we'll read Exodus. Who were the people that God dealt well with (DR version)?

Take your pick of one that you want or do both. (I want to keep you challenged, Shin or whoever.)

I already gave what I believe to be the correct answer. Abraham. My reason being in the garden Adam and eve were not separated from God, no need for prayer. In Gen.4:9 you have Cain answering God but it doesn't sound much like a prayer. In Gen. 4:16 we have Cain leaving the Lord's presence. We have no one speaking to God in Genesis until we get to Gen. 4:26 where it says Men begin to invoke God by name (but it doesn't say who). We have God speaking to Noah but I can't find Noah speaking to God. Abraham invokes God's name in Gen.12:8.  In Ge. 15 we have Abraham and God in dialogue and by Gen. 18 Abraham's bargaining with God over the fate of Sodom. That's why I believe the first person recorded to pray to God, (petition him), and was in dialogue with him was Abraham. Again, it is my opinion, I am ready , willing and able to be proved wrong Grin. Either way it sure is fun looking for little nuggets in the good book, don't you think?
Sorry if I didn't phrase my question properly, it's a problem between my head and my fingers. shrug

When I read your reasoning it sounds so reasonable I wonder that I didn't see it! That's great George!

A good and holy evening to you!

Yes it is!

I'm learning more every question!  Grin

If you keep on reading Genesis in 20:17 it says" So Abraham prayed unto God and God healed Abimelech and his wife , and his maidservants."

I gather Shin is going back to Genesis, not so much for the answers but to familiarize himself with the Word of God.
I did the same after "throwing in the towel" Grin

Which type of fish is popularly known as "St. Peter's fish," ?

N.B.
It is a popular fish even here. Whenever we eat fish over here, it is likely to be that particular one.
The answer is ----Tilapia  Grin
I feel happy that Jesus ate this particular fish, i.e
on the shore of lake Tiberius, grilled over a  over a charcoal fire... I can almost smell the delicious aroma;  yummy Grin
