Hint: The question is related to the History of the Church.

The Edict of Milan is when Constantine the Great legalized Christianity in the Roman Empire. Finally Christians could legally worship without persecution -- for a time!

The Emperor Julian the Apostate would do all he could to put an end to that soon enough!

Thank God for that edict. Too many Christians had been martyred already.

What was the Western or Papal Schism?
That was a period of time when there was more than one claimant to the papacy. At one time there were three men all claiming to be pope.

Correct!
I thought there were only two claimants, one in Rome and the other in Avignon. It is so disappointing that such worldly struggles should occur in the Church. I wonder how they used to elect the popes in those days.
It cannot happen with the current system.
One of them should have immediately given up the claim.

That is true, for that period there were only two claimants but then when they were trying to resolve the issue there were three for a time.

In what way did Mary's presence at the foot of the Cross add to the pain and sorrow of Our Lord?

Her pain at witnessing His passion would increase His own out of sympathy for her.

You are on the right tract! It was an answer of Saint Augustine that I came across that made me post the same question here.

Bible Puzzle from fish eaters

There are 16 Books of the Bible  hidden in the paragraph below. Can you find them?

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu, kept people looking so hard for facts, and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help find them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books of the Bible in this paragraph.
