to help me out of my sadness
«

Knowing my husband has no desire to be true, I feel such deep sadness. I don't know why others die while I live on. So many others are doing great things and deeply loved and living lives with meaning and use. They get cut down while I live. I know this must be right somehow, but I am too sad to go on like this -- alone, unloved, no one to love -- even with the knowledge of God's Love.

Heavenly Father help me to persevere, to strive where my will is weak, and to begin again where I have failed, that whatever I lack in love, I may put right in the trying. Amen.

Dear Rachel
Your not alone.. You have all of us here praying for you and your not unloved by us. Hold on tight and don't get too despondant. It will pass and all will come good I promise.

St. Marguerite d'Youville and St. Catherine of Genoa, who have experienced what Rachel is experiencing and knows what Rachel is going through, pray for her.
Help her know that there are even Saints in heaven who are by her side during her hardship.

We are with you in prayer, Rachel. Be courageous and persevere in prayer. Sometimes we do wonder why others have normal, outwardly happy lives and we do not. But God's Will is mysterious.
Take care.

May you keep faithful and persevere, Rachel. You will be rewarded in the next life for patiently and lovingly putting up with your great sufferings. Unite your sufferings to Jesus' on the cross for some good cause and you will be pleasing God and gaining merit for your soul. Rachel, life doesn't end when we die...it begins, and for those who have patiently and lovingly born with great sufferings a great light will dawn and all eternity will be of comfort to them. Others who have lived wonderful lives of pleasure and great fun without any pain and suffering may find themselves in utter despair, cold and darkness when they die. Christ lived and died in great suffering. He was hated by his own people and utterly rejected. His Mother is even called a Mother of Sorrows. How blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted, but woe to those who laugh now.
