This is a prayer from the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Sunday Evening Prayer

Your name is Our Lady.
Your alone are Mother of God
and raised high over all the earth.
O Spouse of God, we celebrate you with faith,
we honor you with longing,
we venerate you with awe;
at every moment we exalt you
and reverently proclaim you blessed

By St. Germanus of Constantinople (c.638-730)

It just seemed very short and very sweet. angel bell

prayer options in the Little Office are by him. angel blue

On August 11, 714/715 Germanus was elected Patriarch of Constantinople.     
He later helped negotiate Anastasius' surrender terms to Theodosios III.

Germanus entered into communion with the Armenian Monophysites with a view of restoring them to unity with the Church.

The Second Council of Nicaea (787) included Germanus in the diptychs of the saints.
