This poem is an inspiration to me.

THE WORD
By Deborah Belka

The Word is my road map,
that guides me along my way.
Leading me with great wisdom,
to help me through my day.

When I am at a crossroad,
and don’t know which way to go.
I read and ask for His directions,
and the true way He will show.

When I find that, I am too weary,
to travel any further down the road.
I pray and ask for His endurance,
and He lift’s me from my load.

When I get way off His path,
and I wander out on my own.
I get down on my knees and plea,
and His will for me is shown.

Yes, the Word is our road map,
The blueprint for each life.
When we ask for His assistance,
He'll steer us through all our strife.

  cross prayer
