In Poland there is a weekly Lenten service called
Gorzkie Zale.
This devotion was developed in the 18th century in Poland is a set of hymns that focus on the Passion of Christ.
It is sung every Sunday during Lent.

In Poland Good Friday is a day of fasting and penance.
The faithful participate in the Stations of the Cross, commemorating the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus.
