Good morning, Shin!
Cats are pretty good listeners, but rabbits are even better.

How are the rabbits doing?
Well there's listening, and then there's listening and doing whatever you're told.
I learned recently about St. Melangell, the patron saint of rabbits, hares, and small animals.

Hi Shin!
The rabbits are doing well -- enjoying the dandelions sprouting all over my lawn
The cats got their marching orders -- I made them into out-door only cats after a nasty couple accidents near the doors. I can not handle messes that are not safely contained in toilets, diapers or litterboxes. Blech. Bad cats. Very bad. They are very much enjoying being outdoor cats anyhow.
My girls, on the otherhand, seem to have ears just for show. I'm tired of having to repeat myself. Yesterday's dinner was a case in point. I called 3 times before all four came to the table. Then I ask them all to try the cramed spinach I made as I wanted their opinion on the sauce. Soon after, Susy said, "Why does the spinach look different?" I explained again. Soon after, Theresa said, "The spinach looks like it has some creamy stuff on it." I explained again. Then Julia said, "Mom, what's on my spinach?" No TV or radio was on. No overlapping conversations were going on. No loud construction, wind storms, barking dogs, etc were causing distractions during the meal. Just nobody was bothering to listen to Mom. And the only reason Catherine was listening to me and not asking the same questions as her younger sisters was that I had just laid into her for not coming when called and not listening to me, so she was trying extra hard right then. She laughed at how poorly they all listen, but hopefully she will try to be better and lead them into better listening by example.
Whew. Sorry to dump my frustrations here.

The next riddle for the day may be listens better, the cats or the girls?

To think I missed that one.
I'm shaking my head!
Great one Rachel!
