My mother has a possibly cancerous skin lesion, awaiting to hear about the results.

Please pray for my mother.  crucifix

Okay, the biopsy results are in.

It's positive for cancer in this growth. It's a small blemish right on her eyebrow. It's slow growing, and apparently there are two treatments at this stage.

Topical radiation, or scraping off the skin.

Since it's on her face, the former might leave less of a mark, but we don't know too much about this all yet, and my mother is not happy at the idea of radiation too.

My mother's next appointment is to have a consultation with a surgeon on May 9th to learn about her options in regards to dealing with the cancer more fully.

She says "don't worry" "it's slow growing, no rush for surgery".
